A Message from Mr. James

Hello Tussing Tigers!!!!

Yes, it’s that wonderful time of year again! I want to officially welcome back all of our returning Tigers and for those of you who are new to our school, our Tiger Family wants to Welcome you to an absolutely wonderful school. I hope that everyone has had a fantastic summer.  We have been preparing and we are set for another incredible and productive school year. Our Amazing and dedicated staff has planned and prepared for your Tiger(s)! As some of you know and others will experience, our teachers and staff are passionate, caring, hardworking and always learning something new for the benefit of our students. Our focus and drive for learning is never ending and educating the entire student is our ever-striving goal.  We want to make each Tiger feel special and know their importance.

This year we are implementing our school wide House System. We are excited to enter our first year of our school wide house system; last year we piloted it with our second grade Tigers and it was a BIG Success.  Our Tigers along with our Tiger Staff was randomly placed in 5 different houses. The House system is designed to create unity and a sense of belonging across the school.  While, “we are five houses, we are one family”! Hence our motto of “Five Houses, One Family” will be displayed throughout the building.  I believe this theme will set a positive and exciting tone for learning here in Tiger Nation!  As we navigate the year, we will work as a FAMILY to meet our goals and to celebrate our successes!

Thanks and as Always

It’s A Great Day To Be A Tiger!
