We're excited to introduce Attendance Pro by Apptegy, a new way for Tussing Elementary families to communicate with our school about student attendance—all through a simple text message!

Beginning Monday, October 19, families will receive a text message when their child is marked absent. You can reply directly to share the reason for an absence, ask a question, or send a photo of a parent or doctor's note. Families can also use this number to report an upcoming absence.

Once you receive your first message, save this number in your phone so you can easily communicate with our school whenever you need!

Attendance Pro uses an AI-enabled assistant to collect messages, while Tussing's attendance staff review the information and update student attendance records.

During the initial rollout, families will continue receiving the usual automated attendance phone calls in addition to the new text messages.

No app to download, no portal to log into—just a simpler way to stay connected!
